Pilots 11 v Blue Jays 1
Travis Rose turned in a strong pitching performance for the Pilots. At the plate Steve Budny and Mike Beringer had multi-hit games.
Pilots 15 v Blue Jays 4
Travis Rose, rebuking his manager after being DH'd for in the first game, went 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI. Brian Skornia and Mike Gawletta both had 3 RBI's for the Pilots. Mike Beringer pitched a solid complete game for the win.
McGinns 12 v Royals 1
Solid hitting throughout the line-up carried McGinn's to the victory in the first game of the doubleheader. Pitcher Danny Mehigan went the distance picking up the win.
McGinns 15 v Royals 10
McGinns bats again did the trick in beating the Royals in a slugfest for the sweep of the doubleheader.
Supreme Builders 5 v MPD 2
Supreme Builders right hander, Ryan Diaz held the Police to two runs over 7 innings to get the win in the first game of a DH. Justin Yachinich, Tom Rapp, and Chad Olson had multiple hit games for the Builders. Switzer had a 2 run homer in the 3rd inning for the MPD.
Supreme Builders 9 v MPD 4
The Builders earned a sweep of the MPD by winning the nite cap. Chad Olson got the win for the Builders. Chris Moser had a pair of hits and 2 RBI for the Builders.
Johnny V's 4 v O'Brien's 0
Johnny V's took the first game of the doubleheader in a well played game by both teams. Steve Murphy pitched a complete game shutout, scattering 4 hits while striking out six.
O'Brien's 11 v Johnny V's 5
O'Brien's offense came alive in the second game of the doubleheader jumping out to a 10-0 lead after three innings. Chris Sanders led the hitting attack going 4 of 5 and scoring three runs. Jim Vielbaum pitched the complete game to get the win.
Barber Plumbing 7 v
Long Wongs 6
Franklin held off late rallies to come away with a win in game one of a doubleheader.

Tom Mortenson's first inning grand slam- his second dinger of the day- set the pace for Long Wong's offense. Tom's terrific day also included driving in two runs in the fifth on a hard single up the middle. Dan Yesbeck's three hits, Eric Phillip's two doubles and Dan Scherrer's single and triple also contributed largely to the offensive outbreak. Tom Minior, Drew Dean and Brian Jaeger chipped in with two singles each. After tossing the last three innings of game one, horse Josh Sopczek pitched an inspiring complete game getting the final six outs without a base runner.
