Field & Game Time Change
Saturday July 29th game between 10 Colonel Harts and 12 Planet Markeys is moved to Froemming with game times of 1pm and 3:45pm. Colonel Hart's would like to swap this slot if possible due to conflicts with work schedules. Please contact me if you are willing to swap into this time slot for this weekend.

Game Results July 8-10

O'Brien's/Milw HD 20 Johnn V's 13
O'Brien's/Milw. HD bats exploded for 23 hits led by red hot Chris Sanders' 6-6 night. Dan Wilfrath, Mike Drover, Keith Olsen, And Jim Rinelli had three hits each as O'Briens/Milw. HD jumped out to a 15-1 lead after the first two innings. Jim Vielbaum pitched six strong innings giving up two runs. The always tough Johnny V's squad never gave up on a rare off night for them as they roughed up the bullpen for 11 runs in the seventh. Brad Pelzak led Johnny V's with three doubles.

Planet Markey's Indians 9 Franklin Barber Plumbing 3
The Indians picked up their first franchise victory, as they showed the beginning of some team chemistry. Strong Pitching by Jason Thorn (3IP, 1ER) and Doug Fremut (4IP, 1ER) controlled the game against the potent Franklin Barber Plumbing squad. The Indians Offense was led by Mike Jelacic (3-3, 4R, 3SB) and Manager/Player Dave Barth (2 for 3, 4RBI, 1R).

Varsity Club 9 McGinn's 3
The Varsity Club continued their winning ways on a wet Saturday night at Harvey Kuehn Field. Mcginn’s came out swinging though scoring one run in the top of the first. After that the Varsity Club scored eight runs unanswered, including two in the first, one in the third and five in the fifth. Leading the Varsity Club were Mike Beringer with three hits and two RBI’s, Rob Williamson two hits and two RBI’s, and Justin Fischer with 2 RBI’s. Travis Rose notched his fifth win of the year pitching a complete game allowing three runs, only two earned though. For McGinn’s Danny Mehigan, Adam Weber, and Jim Grabowski all had two hits each.

Brown Deer Supreme Builders 18 Braeger/Treat's Blue Jays 8
The Builders beat the Jays in a face off of last years championship game as they jumped out to an early 8-0 lead and never looked back. Everyone in Supreme's lineup got a hit with 5 players having muli-hit games. Pitcher Ryan Diaz earned the win.

Wauwatosa Sluggo's 14 Colonel Hart's 0
Sluggo's got strong pitching from Greg Donovan along with timely hitting to take the first game of a split doubleheader.

Johnny V's 14 Wauwatosa Sluggo's 0
Mike Gramrossa pitched a gem to lead Johnny V's to a 11-0 win. Gramrossa limited Sluggo's to 4 hits and faced 2 over the minimum to get the complete game win. Dan Marx and Eric Lubarsky each had 3 hits with Lubarsky homering and driving in 4 runs.

Colonel Hart's 11 Braeger/Treat's Blue Jays 7
Although seven runs scored, a great pitching performance by Troy Schmitt set the tone for Colonel Harts. Joe Vilkoski had a three hit day, four RBI day leading the offensive charge. A four run sixth inning keyed by the bottom of the Colonel Hart's order seperated the two teams, and gave Colonel Harts their third win of the season.

Texx's Royals 15 Club Paragon 3
The Royals Alex Arcano got the win pitching 7 strong innings. Royals played a complete game with key defensive plays and offensive hits. The Royals offense was led by Mike Gardner, who went 4 for 4, and Joe Cefalu, Alex Arcano, and Mike Ernst, who all went 3 for 4.

Long Wong's 12 Kasper's 5
Josh Sopczak worked five innings allowing one run to get the win to bring Long Wong's to within one game of .500 on the season. Long Wong's scored in the top of the first on three consecutive singles but were matched by Kasper's in the bottom half of the inning. Wong's took the lead for good in the second as Tom Minior drove in two runs with a hard single. Each batter in the Long Wong's starting line-up had at least one hit, led by Tom Mortenson's 3-3 day (2r, 4bi) which included a towering three run homer in the third to put Long Wong's firmly in control. Jason Mikula (2-3, bb) and Mike Langraff (1-1, hr, hbp) kept Kasper's within striking distance. Also enjoying multi-hit days for Long Wong's were leadoff hitter Randy Kumm (2-5, hr), Brian Jaeger (2-4, 2 r, bi), Adam Graves (3-5, dbl, 2bi), Francisco Romero (4-4, 2r, bi) and Greg Ketz (2-4, 2 dbl, 2r, bi).
