Long Wongs 7 Club Paragon 3
The improving expansion Club Paragon squad jumped out to a three run lead after one half inning keyed by Conner Broderick's triple with two runners on. In the bottom of the first Long Wongs put up two runs to answer when Kirk Spano lined a pitch to the left field alley for a double (that's right Rinelli, and if the grass had been shorter and the wind blowing a little harder if might have rolled to the track), was followed by a triple to the right center field wall by Tom Mortenson and a double by Francisco Romero that hit off the top of the left field fence. In the third Long Wongs added three more runs as they strapped on the cleats and stole six consecutive bases. Josh Sopzcak got the complete game win pitching the final six innings scoreless and not walking a batter on the day.
