Manager's Meeting!
MANDATORY
Sunday April 15
at 6pm at O'Brien's Pub:
located on Vliet Street/50th Street
across the road from Wick Field.
Balance of Team Fee Due:
$1550 Saturday/Sunday only teams.
$1775 Friday/Saturday/Sunday teams.
Schedule, scorecards, scorebook and baseballs will be handed out at meeting.
We will also have a short presentation from the Old Time Ballplayer's Association of WI. Their organization costs $10 to join per year. The membership pays for itself in half price Brewer's tickets many times over. Membership also includs invitations to exclusive engagements with high end baseball guest speakers, recent speakers have included Bud Selig, Gord Ash, Doug Melvin, Bob Uecker and various players and media. Please bring $10 to join, you won't be disappointed (consider including a membership for your players with their player fee or collect $10 extra for the membership). The Old Time Ballplayers' Association of WI is a member of the older Chicago chapter which can be visited at http://www.oldtimeballplayers.com/ They will be having their spring Jamboree on Thursday night April 12 at Serb Hall at 5:30pm which for $10 includes dinner and likelihood of meeting/hearing local baseball celebs. Kirk Spano, Jim Rinelli and Brian Peters will be attending to represent the MBL, all league managers, players, sponsors and friends are invited, we hope to see you there.
